ABSTRACT

Abstract: The innovative curriculum teaching of "Introduction to the Analects" is based on the theoretical propositions of the classic "Analects of Confucius", exploring the relationship between traditional Chinese learning (Guoxue) education and the "Analects" curriculum. Teachers primarily use the "Introduction to the Analects" curriculum as the object of operation. They first understand the overall theory and basic framework of Confucian thought and then, based on the essential content of the "Analects", select five specialized thematic teaching materials for instruction, namely, "Moral Cultivation", "Education", "Filial Piety", "Benevolence and Virtue", and "Governance". Simultaneously, through dialogue and communication with students in the classroom, teachers adopt speculative and practical teaching methods. Teachers plan educational methods suitable for today's students, incorporating allusions and fables into the curriculum, conducting discussions and reflections in the classroom, providing correct guidance to students, and encouraging them to integrate what they have learned into their daily lives. Furthermore, the detailed exploration is conducted from two aspects: "teaching methodology" and "teaching steps". The research primarily focuses on the teaching materials and methods of the "Introduction to the Analects", aiming to provide students with correct guidance on moral concepts, enabling them to reflect on themselves and find answers to life and behavior in the doctrines of the "Analects". This approach addresses the challenges and difficulties faced by the decline of moral education in today's society, integrates traditional Confucian cultural thinking into current moral education in traditional Chinese learning, implements "The generalization of general education of classic ", and achieves the goal of " Application of Tongjing ".
